Roses Bar

Anyone entering Roses Bar for the first time will not soon forget the moment. Every square centimetre of the walls, ceiling, and most surfaces is covered in pink plush, faux fur, and glittering decorations. The result is an atmosphere somewhere between a surreal dream and the inside of a jewellery box. Roses Bar has been a fixture of the queer scene in Kreuzberg for years, attracting a crowd that is as colourful as it is loyal.

Drink prices are fair by Kreuzberg standards, the cocktails are solid, and the mood grows increasingly exuberant as the night progresses. There is plenty of dancing, laughter, and flirting. The bar is intentionally inclusive - everyone is welcome regardless of gender, orientation, or background. At the same time, its queer character remains at the heart of the place.

Open daily from 22:00 to 06:00. There is no cover charge. The location on Oranienstrasse, just a few steps from SO36 and other bars, makes Roses Bar the perfect pit stop or starting point for a Kreuzberg pub crawl. Nearest U-Bahn: Kottbusser Tor (U1/U8). Cash is recommended.
